This is a blessed night... (Friday night)

In times of grief, sorrow, and the trials faced by our Ummah, we find in the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the exemplary model.

Though losing him—may my parents be sacrificed for him ﷺ—is the greatest calamity, being deprived of his proximity and sight in Paradise (Jannah) is an even greater loss.

Frequent sending of blessings (ṣalawāt) and peace upon the Prophet ﷺ elevates your ranks in this world and the Hereafter. It is a righteous deed by which Allah grants you success, forgives your sins, and opens a path to Paradise. It alleviates worldly and eternal concerns, refines your soul, and deepens your love for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. Such love becomes your ‘Paradise in this world’ and a means to attain Allah’s mercy in the Hereafter (Ākhirah).

O you who are burdened by grief or exhaustion in this life! Before you lies a profound opportunity this Friday night and day.

O you who ache for the Ummah and the suffering of the oppressed! Turn to a supplication that—by Allah’s will—is answered: the sending of blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. This act atones for sins that empower our enemies, heals the wounds of betrayal, and silences conspiratorial whispers.

O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions!
