For every believer there is an opening… rather, many openings.

For every believer there is an opening… rather, many openings.
But they are not sought from people, nor borrowed from the experiences of others. They are sought within your own heart… in the place of your sincerity… in your personal relationship with your Lord.
How many people are deprived because of constant comparison!
They fix their gaze on what others possess, imagining that the keys to success are hanging at others’ doors…
Unaware that the keys to success are placed in the hands of the sincere.
Your key lies in your connection with your Lord—Glorious and Exalted—
The One who knows your hidden realities, perceives every trace of your weakness, and encompasses your shortcomings. So do not pretend, and do not compare. Rather, come forward with sincerity—just as you are. What matters is the truthfulness of your turning.
There lies the opening.
There lie the openings.
To the extent that you occupy yourself with repairing your own relationship with your Lord—not tracking the relationship of others with theirs—goodness will be opened for you in ways you could never imagine.
Focus on yourself—on your direction, on the means of your growth.
Do not exhaust your heart with scattered comparisons, and do not waste your energy watching others.
“And do not extend your eyes toward what We have given some of them to enjoy—the splendor of worldly life—by which We test them; but the provision of your Lord is better and more lasting.”
What is with Allah is better and more enduring…
Whoever becomes occupied with his Lord, Allah will make him independent of people, and open for him doors that cannot be measured by worldly standards.
The entire secret lies within you, and all success begins with you—
Not with others, nor from people.
If people truly grasped this reality, their hearts would overflow with reverence, love, and longing for Allah.
But heedlessness corrupts, and ignorance deprives.
